For Fishing is the largest fishing fair in the Czech Republic. Traditionally, it features presentations of new trends and introductions of novelties for the current year. Therefore, the stand of the large research infrastructure CENAKVA, which presented its activities here, could not be missing.

Open Access Week
from October 24th to 26th, 2023, the Academic Library of the University of South Bohemia hosted the Open Access Week. This is a globally recognized event aimed at promoting open access to the outcomes of scientific research. The CENAKVA was also there. Among the panelists was Ing. Petr Císař, Ph.D., (FFPW USB) who delivered a lecture on a topic "How to Publish Research Data Through a Data Article."
The event was conducted in the Czech language, and recordings of the lectures from each day will be gradually released on the university's YouTube channel.
This exhibition is the only one in our country that includes the entire agricultural and food sector. Traditionally, agricultural machinery and services for agriculture, plant and animal production, food industry, technology, forestry and water management, organic farming, hunters, fishermen, beekeepers and small breeders are represented. Therefore, the stand of the large research infrastructure CENAKVA, which presented its activities here, could not be missing.

The CENAKVA research infrastructure contributes to the definition of open science policy at the faculty and university level. In the long term, the research infrastructure CENAKVA sees open science as an important part of scientific collaboration and knowledge dissemination.
The publication of datasets at the level of individuals or research teams is currently underway.
Within the CENAKVA research infrastructure, datasets are published on the CENAKVA website on the "Open DATA".
For the future, it is important to find disciplinary repositories suitable for all research teams working in the Faculty and within the CENAKVA RI. It also supports USB's efforts to create an institutional repository for open data and to link it to the EOSC project infrastructure.
